The plain-language version
Build With DBcollects the information you choose to give — through the contact form, lead form, newsletter signup, or AI concierge chat. It's used to respond to you, deliver what you asked for, and improve the site. It is not sold to anyone.
What is collected
Form submissions (name, email, phone, business details, project descriptions), newsletter signups (email, first name, topic preferences), and concierge chat messages you send. Standard technical data (browser type, pages visited) may be collected by the hosting platform for performance and security.
How it is used
To respond to inquiries, follow up on build requests you consented to, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and operate the AI concierge. Lead details may be processed by service providers (database hosting, email delivery, AI infrastructure) solely to provide these functions.
Consent and follow-up
Follow-up contact only happens when you check the consent box on a form. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe option. You can withdraw consent anytime by emailing hello@buildwithdb.ca.
Data retention and your rights
Data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose you provided it. You can request a copy of your data or ask for it to be deleted by emailing hello@buildwithdb.ca. Reasonable requests are honoured promptly.

Links to external sites (including affiliate courses and the merch store) lead to services with their own privacy policies. Review them before providing information there.
