How AI Agents Can Qualify Leads While You Work

Every tradesperson knows the trade-off: you're either doing the work or answering the phone. Miss the call, lose the job. Answer every call, never finish a job.

An AI agent breaks that trade-off. On this site, the concierge in the corner is a live example. It answers product questions, explains offers, and — this is the important part — qualifies leads. It asks what someone is building, what they need, their budget range, their timeline. Then it scores the lead.

Scoring is where the leverage is. A visitor with an urgent timeline and a real budget gets flagged hot and routed for immediate follow-up. A casual browser gets a helpful answer and a newsletter invite. Nobody gets ignored, and my attention goes where it pays.

The same pattern works for any service business: web chat, voice agents on your phone line, forms that score instead of just collecting. The agent works the front desk while you work the job. That's a system — and systems create freedom.
